His name is listed with a middle initial of "C." on his mother's death cert. Listed in 1920 as a lodger, age 24, as a bank cashier.
[Obituary]
He moved to Salina in 1928 from Brownell, where he was associated with the Bank of Holyrood. He was a cashier and accountant in several Kansas banks before becoming accountant and bookkeeper for the Lynch Grain company, from which he retired in 1961 after 21 yrs. Member of the First Presbyterian Church, veteran of WW1, and member of the American Legion. A 50 year member and past master of the Holyrood Masonic lodge and member of the Order of the Eastern Star. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on 14 June 1970 at the Presbyterian Church in Salina KS. He died of Cancer at Asbury Hospital. Services at Geisendorf Rush Smith funeral home by Dr. Bernand Hawley, and burial in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Goldie Elizabeth Conrow
Goldie Elizabeth Conrow, 93, formerly of 916 Manchester, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 1989, at the College Park Health Care Center. Mrs. Conrow was born Goldie Elizabeth Mitchell on Nov. 8, 1895, at Brookville and had been a Salina resident since 1928, moving from Brownell. She was a retired homemaker and school teacher at Brookville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Harmony Chapter No. 2 Order of the Eastern Star and the Native Daughters of Kansas. Her husband, Fred C., died in 1976; a daughter, Phyllis Dearing, died June 17, 1989; and a son also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son-in-law, ; Roger Dearing of 916 Manchester; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, the Rev. Cynthia Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon today until the service Monday at the funeral home.
