His WWI Draft registration says he was born 20 Oct, but SSDI says 10 Oct.
Graduated from Kansas State U. in Manhattan, Kansas in 1913. He was living in St Louis in 1917 when he registered for the WWI Draft. Had no children. Was a retired research engineer for Ash Grove Lime and Portland Cement Co. in Chanute. A state highway engineer and testing materials engineer for the states of Kansas and Missouri, an honorary member of the Kansas Engineering Society and American Society of Testing Materials. Was listed in the "Who's Who in the Midwest" and employed as a highway engineer for several years at KSU Dept of Engineering. A veteran of WWI and a Mason.
Bill Conrow listed middle name as Dickens based on 1931 Conrow Genealogy, but my guess is that it should be Deakens, which is the maiden name of his maternal grandmother.
