Misc. Notes
Her name is listed variously as Almereta, Almarida and Almereta, etc.
She is listed in the 1910 census as age 8 at 128 Stevenson St, with her (Robb) grandparents. However, as a result of mixing of street data, she is listed separately on the middle of the next page after them.
In 1920 she is listed with her father (listed as Edward) and his 2nd wife at 606 Lake St. Reno in the house he built. Living with them is her step sister Marguerite Williams.
She married Roger Bernard in Sept 1929 and is listed on Jones St in Reno in 1930 with her new husband.
She inherited the house on Lake St. after the death of her father and step mother from the flu epidemic in 1931. She had a Beauty Shop in one of the hotels or casinos, and owned a laundry business according to Katherine Pedemonte. They traveled to France in 1954 and came back via New York (where they arrived on 12 Jul 1954). Almereta and Roger celebrated their 50th Anniversary in Sept '79.
She and Roger were still in the house on Lake St when he died, but she didn’t live in the house after that (it went empty). The house is still there.
