Castro Valley
Mary Pedemonte passed away on Monday after a brief illness of natural causes. She touched many lives with her kind and loving nature.
Mary was born in Reno, NV and moved to Emeryville, CA as a young girl where she met her husband, Arthur. They were blessed to be married for 71 wonderful years.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Arthur, two children, Tom Pedemonte (Tina) and Cheri Damgen (Edward), two granddaughters, Jessica Powers (Tony) and Julie Lapp (Bill), and her great-granddaughter, Addison. She is also survived by her close first cousin, Joan Forrester and her daughters Sandy Stiving (Rob) and Sharon Astorino (Mike) and their loving families. Her gentle and loving spirit will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know Mary.
