Listed as Jacob Kline (2, NV) in 1880 census for Virginia City, with his parents Jacob Kline (35, NY) a harness maker and Laura (27, NY) both of whose parents were German. Also with the family were daughters Amelia (10) and Lillie (5) both born in New York.
Listed as Arthur J. Kline (30, NV) in 1910, an engineer for stationary engines in 1910, married 12 yrs to May L. (29, NV) with children Irma I. (Jan 1899, CA) and Arthur (1yr 8mo, NV). Living with them is her widowed sister, Clara V. Warren (38, NV). He was listed as a Notary Public in Virginia City for 1908-1912 period.
They divorced and his wife was living in Oakland, CA in 1920 with the children and her sister. Arthur J. Kline is listed in Long Beach, divorced and working as an assembler for engine hoists (37, NY) and a lodger with the Huxley family.
He was remarried to Ellen Robb by 1930, and working as a Hoisting Engr (46, NV) in a construction camp in Alameda Co, CA .
After her death in 1938, he was listed in the 1945 and 1948 San Francisco City Directories, and died there in 1957, burial location unknown.

Born in 1878 according to the census, but listed as 1883 on her death record. She appears to be the daughter of Solomon and Lucretia Noel in the 1880 census at age 2 - although she was listed as 29 in the 1910 census. So I have used the 1878 year.
Divorced and living with her children in Oakland in 1930, where it says that she was married at age 17. Still living with them at age 50 in 1940, still divorced and her son Arthur was now married to Mildred (25, CA).

She was married twice, first to Warren Scott and second to Arthur J. Kline. She had three children with Warren Scott, all of whom survived her: Gladys and James Warren Scott, and Mrs. Lucille Reilly.
Listed as Sadie E. (35, NV) in the 1920 Reno census with her husband and 4 children, still living on Bell St.
Divorced from James Scott and listed as Ellen, married to Arthur Kline and living in Alameda Co, CA in 1930. Her children were living with their father. In 1932 the Reno Evening Gazette reported them as living in Livermore, CA.
She lived in Nevada for her entire life, with the exception of a few years spent in San Francisco. She was a member of the Women's Benefit Association of Reno, and active in community affairs.

Kline Funeral Service Held
Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Sadie Ellen Kline, well known resident, who died Thursday at a local hospital following a long illness.
Rites were from St. Thomas Aquinas cathedral, where a high requiem mass was celebrated by Father James Wagner. There were many floral remembrances. Father James Sheehy officiated at recitation of the rosary last evening at the O’Brien chapel. Interment was in Mater Delorosa cemetery, and the pallbearers were Al Ward, Charles Clark, William Ward, Earl Curtis, Dan Shea and Harry Holten.
