She is listed as being born in Nevemtish, Russia on her husbands naturalization papers. Name may also have been "Enda" in Jewish.
First married in Russia in an arranged marriage to Max Altman, then left shortly thereafter for America at age 20. Came over on the Niew Amsterdam with her sister Sadie in 1911. Ann conceived on the boat, and had daughter Sarah in New York the next year; with the marriage lastiing only a couple of years.
She kept Sarah after the divorce, and married Samuel Gordon a couple years later. They raised Sarah and listed her name as Gordon in all the records (not clear if she was adopted by Sam).
Anna is listed in Manhattan in 1930 with her (2nd)husband Sam (42, Russia), daughter Sarah (18, NY), and sons Isaac (10), Harry (9) and Abraham (2).
In 1940 Anna (46, RUS) is still an alien with only a 3rd grade education, with children Sarah (23, NY), Isaac (20, NY), and Harry (17, NY)
Her burial record lists her as Annie.

Natualization record and WWII Draft registration lists his birth in 1889, and SSDI lists 1890, and 1891 on WWI Draft registration.
Listed as a basketmaker on the immigration record with his wife, Ann.
He was living in Manhattan in 1917 when he registered for the WWI Draft.
Remarried in 1919 after his divorce and had 2 more children according to his daughter, Sarah.
In the 1920 Brooklyn census, he is listed as having a Furrier shop (31, RUS) with wife Regina (28, Galicia). It says he immigrated in 1910 and was naturalized in 1915, while she immigrated in 1914 and was naturalized in 1919. His parents were born in Minsk, while hers were born in Galicia (?) and spoke Polish.
He petitioned for Naturalization on 3 May 1929, and listed his arrival with Ann on 25 Sept 1911 aboard the New Amsterdam via Rotterdam. On it he listed his birth date, his wife and two children.
He is listed with his second wife, Regina, living in Brooklyn on E. 31st St in 1930. He owned a fur shop at the time. The entire family was still living there in 1940 and 1942 when he registered for WWII Draft.

Arrived in 1909 as recorded in his naturalization records.
He is listed in 1910 in Manhattan as Samuel Gordon, a junk peddler (23, RUS-Lith) and a boarder with the family of Max Rudolf. It says he immigrated in 1909 and had submitted naturalization papers.
In 1915 he and Anna are listed on Wyona St with Sam’l as a painter (30, RUS) being 8 yrs in the US; wife Anna (30, RUS) also 8 yrs in the US, with daughter Sarah (2, US).
He filed a Declaration of Intention for naturalization on 22 Apr 1919, saying that he was born in Bessarabia, Russia in June 1887, and had arrived in New York aboard the Rotterdam (from Rotterdam) on the 15th Oct 1909. And that his wife was Annie. It was witnessed by Nathan Blank (Ann’s brother).
They are listed on East 3rd Street in 1920, where Samuel (33, RUS) had immigrated in 1910 and had filed naturalization papers. He was an operator in the hat industry, and both he and Anna could read and write. With him is Annie (30, RUS), who immigrated in 1911, along with daughter Sarah (7, NY) who was attending school, and Isador (4 mos, NY). They had a boarder, Jacob Handelman (31, RUS) liviing with them, who had also immigrated in 1910 and submitted natualization papers.
Samuel Gordon was naturalized on 14 May 1924, saying he immigrated to the US, arriving in New York on 11 Oct 1909 aboard the “Rotterdam”. It lists a daughter Sarah, born 17 May 1911, born to a first marriage, in addition to his 2 sons at the time.
In 1925 he and Ann are listed on East 3rd St, where he is listed as a Street Cleaner (40, RUS) having been in the US 16 yrs and naturalized in 1924. Annie (34, RUS) had been here 14 yrs, and children Sarah (13), Isadore (5) and Harry (3). It says he was a furrier.
Living in Manhattan on E. 3rd St in 1930, working for the Street Cleaning dept. at age 42, first married age 28.
Living on E. 13th St in New York in 1940 where he is listed as a sweeper for the Sanitation Dept (50, RUS) naturalized with an 8th grade education. His wife Anna (46, RUS) is still an alien with only a 3rd grade education, and children Sarah (23, NY), Isaac (20, NY), and Harry (17, NY) had all completed high school and were working; with Abraham (12, NY) having finished 6th grade.
