[Obituary] Mansfield News - Friday, 1 Nov 1907
John A Miller of 300 South Main St., died very suddenly at his home Thursday afternoon of apoplexy. He was born in Bedford county Penn. Oct. 23, 1839 and lived to the age of 68 years and 8 days. Mr.Miller leaves a wife, one daughter, Mrs. H.T. Manner, and one son, Rollie Miller both of this city; two daughters, Rose and Mrs. E.D. Meckley preceded him in death. Throughout the Civil War he faithfully served his country, belonging to Co. A of the 64th Regiment O.V.I. Mr. Miller has resided in Mansfield the last two years having come here from Butler, where he was a member of the Samuel Bell Post, G.A.R.,and also engaged in the lumber business for seventeen years. He was an active member of the Evangelical Association for the last 50 years, serving in various offices of the church, and was ever devoted and loyal. The church will keenly feel the loss of this earnest member and his presence will be greatly missed. Funeral services from the Evangelical Church, corner of South Main St. & Lexington Ave. Sunday Nov. 3 at 2 o'clock.

Died at the home of her dau Mrs. H. T. Manner - 174 So Main St, Mansfield. Daughter of Jacob and Judith Bowman Stull, pioneer residents of Washington Twp. When she was a young woman the family moved to Morrow Co and located on a farm near Steam Corners. They moved to Mansfield in 1904 and lived there until their deaths. Had a son and daughter, both of Mansfield, who survived her.

Pioneer Resident of Richland County Succumbs Today
Mrs. Nancy (Stull) Miller, 91, pioneer, resident of Richland county and a resident of Mansfield during the part 27 years, died Monday at 2 a. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. T. Manner, 171 South Main street. Death followed a general decline in health over the past several months.
Mra. Miller was in her usual state of health Feb, 3, when she celebrated her 91st birthday, and greatly enjoyed the calls of her friends on that day. She was regular attendant at the Sunday school and preaching services at the Main Street Evangelical church, until a few months ago. On Rally day a year ago she was honored as the oldest person present. She was born Feb. 3, 1840, near Little Washington, the daughter of Jacob and Judith Stull, pioneer residents of Washington township. At the age of 12 years she became affiliated with the Ebenezer Evangelical church and held a membership in the Evangelical congregation until death.
When she was a young woman, the Stull family moved to Morrow county and located on a farm near Steam Corners. Here she
was united in marriage with John A Miller on Sept. 8, 1867. Mr. Miller died a number of years ago.
Twenty-seven years ago Mr. and Mrs. Miller came to Mansfield and took up residence on South Main street.
Mrs. Miller leaves one daughter, Mrs. H. T. Manner and one son R. F. Miller, both of this city. Four grandchildren, one great-grandchild also survive. She was the last surviving member of the immediate Stull family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Main Street Evangelical church in charge of her pastor, the Rev. Leroy Deininger. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery in charge of the Finefrock funeral directors.
