Adopted by her mother's second husband, Charles O'Bleness. Susan was married at one time, but had resumed her (adopted) maiden name of O'Bleness.
Susan had a daughter, but when she was mixed up with drugs and the wrong people, Barb and her husband were granted custody of the child by Children's Services. Susan tried to get the girl back after she straightened herself out, but didn't succeed, which increased the despondency that caused her death. They ruled it suicide, however Bob (her father) could not get cooperation with authorities on the discrepancies so the family did not believe it was suicide.
