Misc. Notes
She did not read and write - on Jacobs probate papers, she signed with an "X". She was listed with Lorenzo and Sarah Brentlinger on North St in Fredericktown during the 1880 census (age 75). Her will was written Feb 4, 1879 and submitted to probate on Jan 4, 1881. In it she gave everything to Sarah Brentlinger, her step daughter (Jacob's daughter). Those notified of the will were George & Mary Daily, and Reuben & Barbara Mettler (possibly sisters?) Her tombstone lists her death as 12 Dec, 1880 and age as 74 yrs, 7 mos, 27 days. However, her sworn statement for John's pension says that she was age 59 in March of 1864, which would put her birthdate in 1804?

There are also a couple other people buried there who were named Jacob Jennings ____ in his honor besides Jacob Wells.
Jacob’s birthday is apparently after July, based on age listed during 1870 census.
