He was in the US Navy during WWII ( 12 Dec 1942-18 Aug 1945) and received an honorable discharge.
He is listed in the 1944 San Jose City Directory as being in the Navy, and living at 697 Palm with his wife Blanche Cook.
George (32, MT) is listed in 1950 in Los Gatos CA as a vegetable truck driver with his wife Blanche (29, CA) and children Dennis William Cook (1947-2012) and Shirley L. (5 mos).
He was listed as living in Fortuna, CA in 1980.
