Janet Greene
Janet L. Greene of Cedaredge died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at her home. She was 83. A private graveside service was held a Mesa View Cemetery.
Ms. Greene was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Belleville, Ohio. She graduated from Ashland University in Ohio. She attended Columbia University in New York and the University of Southern California. She was a special education teacher for 20 years in California prior to her retirement. She moved to Cedaredge 18 years ago. She enjoyed good literature, classical music, her animals, cooking, and hiking the trails in the Los Padres National Forest near her cabin in California.
Mrs. Green is survived by a niece, Gayle Snyder of Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Back. Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
