Mrs; Mae M. Wells Is Called by Death At Quaker City, 0. Succumbs At Home After Illness Of Several Months
QUAKER CITY. O.. Nov. 21 Mrs. Mae Meredith Wells, wife of Joe Wells, died at her home on Main street Sunday afternoon after an Illness of several months' duration. Mrs Wells was born In the Mlddlebourne vicinity and for several years had resided at Youngstown, moving to this place about two years ago. She was a highly esteemed resident of our town and had many friends who were grieved to learn of her demise. She was a member of the Trinity M. E. church of Youngstown. The deceased is survived bv her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Jarnes Schofleld and grandson, Joe of Hornell, N. Y., two sisters, Mrs. Lela Galloway of near Quaker City and Mrs. A. M. Long of Mlddlebourne, two brothers, William Meredith of Cambridge and Clarence Meredith of Michigan. Mrs. Schofleld and son. Joe arrived in Quaker city a short while before her mother's death. Funeral services will be conducted from the home at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Bev. A. A. Gilmore, pastor of the M. E. church In charge. Hunni will be in the Greenlawn cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers.
