There is a reference to 2 brothers of Joseph Miller Wells in one of his obituaries. Another reference to Joseph having a second brother is a notarized statement from the nurse at the delivery which is in Joseph's military pension papers. His birth listed as 27 Jul 1856 in Fredericktown in Melva's family bible. Jasper did not show up on either the 1860 (but neither did Joseph Miller) or 1870 census records. He must have died young.
