By 1920 they had moved to Salt Lake City, where Charles was listed as a helper in a Garage.
Listed in the 1930 Salt Lake City census as age 68 and first married at age 16.

Son of Joseph Hout and Elizabeth Elliot.
His parents born in PA. according to his listing with her parents in 1880. Charles is listed in 1920 census as C. E. Hout, a helper in a Garage, and the 1930 Salt Lake City census with Josie as his wife. He was 73 and she was 68 at that time. He was a retired traffic manager for the Old Daisy Stage Line.
They are apparently buried in Salt Lake City, Utah in the sugarhouse area.
