Moved to Enid Oklahoma in 1906, and is listed in Garland Twp for the 1910 census as a farmer (36, IL) with his wife, two daughters and a son. He is listed as P.S. Wells in 1920 as a farmer with the two youngest children. His daughter is teaching school. They are still listed in Garland Twp in the 1930 census, after their children have left home.
He and Effie are listed there in 1940 with Phillip as a farmer (67, IL) and her as (63, IL).
His death date was listed as 17 Jun 1955, but the cemetery record lists it as 18 June.
