She married Fredrick H. Johnson (1876, NY) about 1902, they had a son Theodore B. Johnson (1903-1981). In the 1910 census she is listed as a music teacher, and Fred as a telephone operator, but listed as Johnston. By the 1915 NY census, Jessie is listed as the widow of Fred, who died in 1914, and head of household with son Theodore. She is listed there thru 1930 widowed with her son Theodore, and by 1940 her son was listed as the head of household and a radio operator for the steam railroad.
She, Fred and son Theodore are buried together in Barton Cemetery.
