Her father's obit listed her as Pearl Hauser, as did his 50th Wedding Anniversary announcement and the 1910 census.
Both her marriage announcement and return from their honeymoon were written up in the newspaper. It says that they were married at the California Club Hall and honeymooned in Lake Tahoe.
In 1910 they were living on Fruitvale Ave in Oakland. In 1920 he is indexed as Herbert Hanser and working as a cashier in stocks and bonds, still in Oakland where he lived most of his life.
In 1930 they are in Oakland, with 12 yr old (adopted) son Herbert Jr, and a Chinese servant Poly Quon. Herbert is now listed as a manager of stocks and bonds, and they own their $10,000 home.

Was German-Jew according to Lloyd and was a lawyer.
Worked as a brokerage clerk in a bank in 1910. His brother Martin S. Hauser (38, CA) is listed next to him. It says their parents were from Austria and No. Carolina.
When he registered for the WWI Draft, he was living on San Sebastion in Oakland, and working as a cashier for Sutro & Co in San Francisco.
When he registered for the WWII Draft in 1942, he was living in Orinda and still working for Sutro & Co.

Financier Hauser Dies Here
Funeral services will be held Monday for Herbert Hauser, an account executive with the Sutro and Co. investment brokers for more than 65 years. Mr. Hauser, 83, died Saturday in his home at 491 Staten Ave. He had been associated with the San Francisco investment firm since he was 17. A native of San Francisco, Mr. Hauser was secretary of the Old Time Athletes Association and athletic director of the Panama Pacific Exposition.
For more than 60 years Mr. Hauser officiated at University of California track meets. Active in Boy Scouting, he was a life member of the Oakland Area Council of Boy Scouts. He was the first Scoutmaster in Oakland to be given the Silver Beaver, highest award in Scouting.
Mr. Hauser met his wife, Elizabeth, while both were working on the now defunct Morning Call newspaper. After the paper was discontinued, Hauser worked in the Tribune sports department for several years. He was a member of the Orinda Rotary Club and Fruitvale Parlor of Native Sons of the Golden West.
Surviving are his widow, a son, Herbert M. Hauser of Walnut Creek, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Emtombment, Mountain View Mausoleum.
