Utica - Mrs. Mary F. Coleman, 84, widow of Dr. B. Coleman (1839-1920), resident of Homer, died Saturday in the Stone nursing home in Fredericktown. She had resided in Fredericktown for 18 months and had been at the nursing home for the past six months.
The daughter of William and Phoebe Moats, she was born in Utica, March 28, 1863. A resident of Homer for many years, she was a member of the Homer Methodist church.
Survivors are a foster son, Stanley R. Tippett of Fredericktown and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the C. C. Law and Son funeral home until 11 a.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the Homer Methodist church at 1:30 p.m. and services conducted by Rev. F. P. Chapman will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be made in Homer cemetery.
