QUINCY — Evelyn June Reppert, 82, of Quincy, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She was born on June 18, 1926, in Ray, IN (sic) to James and Etta (Monn) Gallaway and had worked as an attendant at the Coldwater Regional Center, Pinkerton’s Security, Shoppers Guide, and IPG. Evelyn belonged to the Montgomery American Legion Auxiliary, serving as president, was a long time member of the Board of Directors for the Reading Emergency Unit; and was a member of the “Old & Reckless Group.”
Survivors are children Robert K. Bradshaw and Mary Snyder of Quincy, Gwendolyn Sue (Frank) Adams of Lexington, S.C., Dawn Lee (Don) Cleveland of Reading, Richard A. (Soozi) Bradshaw of Coldwater and Reginald L. (Kathy) Bradshaw of Hudson, Wisc.; step-children Beverly (Jim) Reppert of Ferndale and Kathryn (John) Hannah of Lansing; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands (Otto L. “Bud” Bradshaw and John Paul Reppert, Jr.), ten siblings, two step-daughters (Barbara Thompson and Carol Elkins), a grandson and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the George White Funeral Home, Reading with Reverend Alan Fenstermaker officiating. Interment will follow in Berg Cemetery, Montgomery. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Montgomery American Legion Auxiliary.
