By 1900, her parents has moved the family to Colorado, and they then progressed to Nevada in 1910. But at that time Eva was married to Roy R. Wright on 3 Mar 1910, and listed with him in Portland, OR in the April 1910 census. Her daughter Bessie was born the next year in Nevada, but then died in California in 1913.
Married Carl H. Mayer on 19 Sep 1917 and listed with him in 1920 Nevada census.
Married Leonard G. Hale on 21 Jul 1927, and was listed with him and son Carl Mayer in 1930 census for Emeryville, CA. It states she was first married at age 20 (1910).
She (50, NY) and Leonard (50, VT) are still in Emeryville in 1940, where he is working as a Policeman, with step-son Carl Mayer (18, NV) living with them, and still there in 1950.
She was Mrs. Walter Larsen of Emeryville, CA when she visited her sister Bessie in Reno in 1959, suggesting that they were married after his wife’s death in 1956, and before 1959.
And that is the name she had at the time of her death.

He is more generally listed as Walter E. Larsen, but some records are under Larson.
He is listed as Walter Larson in 1900, with his parents Christian Larson (Mar 1844, NOR) and Anna Carlson (Sep 1860, NOR) married 19 yrs. It shows his birth as Jun 1892, which is also listed in the SSDI and WWII draft registration. However his WWI draft registration lists his birth in 1891, as does the Calif Death Index.

Apparently first married to Dollie Marie Jackson Larsen (1885 - 1956) before he was remarried to Eva, most likely after Dollie’s death.

LARSEN, Walter E., suddenly in Fremont, December 28, 1966, of 1037 43rd Street, Emeryville, loving husband of Eva May Larsen; loving father of Mrs. William May of Alameda, Mrs. Hap Kolmodin of Oakland, Mrs. Don Walker of Palos Verdes, Mrs. Art Handy of Dos Palos and Mrs. Bud Flint of Ventura; loving grandfather of nine grandchildren; loving brother of Mrs. Allis Banks of San Leandro and Mrs. Earl Barnett of Brookdale. A native of Berkeley. A member of Alameda Rod and Gun Club.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Saturday, December 31, at 2 pm from the Chapel of the Oaks, Oakland Mortuary, 3007 Telegraph Avenue.
