She fell and hit her head, had a concussion and suffocated due to vomit aspiration.

Mrs. Mary Wells
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Anna Wells, 2108 North Meridian Street, who died Tuesday in her home, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Roysler and Askin Mortuary. Cremation will be in Washington Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wells, a former bookkeeper and accountant, was a native of Wabash and had lived at Indianapolis 22 years. She was general bookkeeper for 19 years at the Wabash County Loan and Trust Company at Wabash. In Indianapolis she worked for the State Tax Board and at the Indiana National Bank. She was a member of the Altrusa Club at Wabash and was a member of the Indianapolis Second Church of Christ Scientist and the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women's Club. Her husband, Clyde W. Wells, an attorney, died in 1911. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Caudry of Peoria, III., and a sister, Mrs. W. R. Raney of Princeton, W.Va.

His obit says he graduated from law school in Indianapolis, practiced law at Wabash where he was married and returned to Fayette Co due to ill health.

Clyde Wallace Wells, aged 34 years, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ada B. Chalfant at 6:30 Friday evening. Mr. Wells was born near Brownsville, PA, June 10, 1878. He studied at Jefferson Academy and became a school teacher. A few years later he entered Hiran College, where he remained three years. He has been in the employ of the Big Four railroad the last six years, during which time he had lived at Wabash, Ind. Mr. Wells leaves a wife and one child, Mary Jane Wells. He is also survived by four brothers, Alva, James, Levi and William, and one sister, Mrs. Ida B. Chalfant.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the old Wells homestead in Jefferson township, now the home of Alva Allen Wells.
