Married Lorraine L. Green on 16 Feb 1963 in Marin Co, CA - divorced Dec 1971. Then married Barbara A. Brown and divorced her in Aug 1973, before Cathy.
While married to Cathy Samuels, he dove into the shallow end of a neighbors swimming pool during a party and injured his spine. It resulted in his being a paraplegic and wheel-chair bound for the rest of his life.

Arthur Alexander Horsfall died peacefully September 21, 2003, in Ukiah, California at the age of 61. , Art was born on March 24, 1942, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he spent the first eleven years of his life. In 1953 he moved to Ukiah, which he happily adopted as his hometown. Art preferred pranks and laughter to homework and books, but graduated from Ukiah High in 1961. Soon afterwards he joined the Air Force, where he was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base. In 1963 he married. He and Lorraine had two children, Christina and Edward, and were later divorced. Art was honorably discharged with the rank of Airman 2nd Class. After a number of years in Santa Clara, he returned to Ukiah. In 1980 ho was injured in a diving accident, and although he lost the use of his legs, he adapted to a wheelchair with typical cheer. Art loved family and friends above all, and reached out to many of the children in his apartment complex. He was also an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and the Forty Niners, and a devoted and vocal Democrat. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Christina and Bill Hoffman of Ukiah, and Edward and Kristene Horsfall of Ukiah; his siblings and their spouses, Joyce and Tom Gravatt of Newark, Calif., Don and Karen Verville of Chattanooga, Tenn., Jan and Nancy Verville of Vancouver, Wash., and Heather Verville and Rick Brazeau of Arcata, Calif.; three granddaughters, Valerie Hollings worth, Amanda Caravalho, and Danielle Caravalho, all of Diamond Springs, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nancy Verville. Inurnment will be at Russian River Cemetery. A memorial celebration in Art's memory will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Samantha Burkey's home: Talmage Road east to the City of 10,000 Buddahs, right 1/4 mile, first left onto Mill Creek Road, one mile up to 3150. Donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th St. N.W.,Washington, DC 20006.

Arthur A. Horsfall died Sunday, September 21, 2003, at his home at the age of 61. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, the son of Arthur and Nancy Horsfall, Art and his sister Joyce came to Ukiah with their mother right after World War II. Nancy married Paul Verville, and Art and Joyce grew up in Ukiah with their Verville siblings, Jan, Don and Heather. Art loved to reminisce about his youthful adventures roaming the hills above the family home on Helen Avenue. Art was proud of his service in the U. S. Air Force during the Viet Nam Era, but more so of his children, Edward Horsfall and Christina Hoffman of Ukiah, not to mention his grandchildren Valerie, Amanda and Danielle of Sacramento. He was a dedicated member of the Democratic Party.
