Olga Marchi Roveta, resident of Mtn. View, died peacefully with her daughters at her side on 31 July 2010 at the age of 93. Olga was born at home in Half Moon Bay on 3 Dec 1916 to Annibale and Gelsomina Marchi. She was the second of five children. After moving to San Mateo, Olga met Alfred Roveta, the boy next door, and married him on 7 Jan 1933. They remained there, raised their family and then moved to San Jose in 1975. Olga enjoyed her sales position at Joseph Magnin for more than 20 years. She loved her 25 years of volunteering and making friends in the gift shop at Kaiser Hospital San Jose. In addition, this amazing woman was an active member of the ICF, Catholic Daughters, Over 50's, Red Hat Society and St. Julie's Catholic Community. Olga was predeceased by her husband, her siblings and her daughter Melanie Conroy. Surviving are her daughters Barbara Gustafson, Sandy Roveta and Natalie Marshall and her sons-in-law Roy Gustafson, Bob Conroy and Keith Marshall. Olga was a fabulous "Noni" to nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a loving aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Rosary and Celebration of Life Mass will be held Thursday, August 5 at 11:30 am at St. Julie's Catholic Church, 366 St. Julie's Drive, San Jose. Private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos.
