Eugene F. Tallman, 71, of P.O. Box 463, Carbondale, died Tuesday in Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. His widow is Shirley Tallman. Born March 29, 1925, in Pennsylvania, son of the late Walter R. and Mae Lewis Tallman, he was a Navy veteran. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Gruman Industries. Also surviving are a son, Curtis, Carbondale; four brothers, ElIsworth, Georgia; William and Jay, both of New York, and Clayton, Clark's Summit; two sisters, Eva Snyder, Maryland, and Gertrude Hinkley, Carbondale; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Sand Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
There will be no calling hours.
