His first wife, Catherine, apparently died shortly after the birth of their second child. He remarried Rebecca Hooper, a widow, about 1805 and had 2 more children. They sold land in Snowden Twp, Allegheny Co, PA to Joseph Higbee 13 May 1812. He later moved to New Albany, Ind. where he lived the rest of his life.
