Andy was born Oct. 24, 1927, in Iowa City, the son of Wilbur and Edith Lonn Wells. He married Margaret A. Smith on Feb. 15, 1952, in Cedar Rapids. He worked at FMC as an inspector for 18 years. Andy was a 49-year member and past master of Mizpah Masonic Lodge No. 639. He enjoyed bowling in the senior league and served in the Army during the Korean War. His favorite times were going to the Iowa Women's basketball games and the bus trips to the away games.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Irving and Grace Smith; a brother-in-law, Robert Price; and a son-in-law, Gregory Gaimari.
