First married to Mary Rice in 1858. He is listed as John H. Galloway, a farmer (23, OH) in 1860 with wife Mary (27, OH) and daughter Anncenius (1 mo). His wife died that same month, and is buried in Crow cemetery. Their daughter is then listed the next month in the census with his parents in Knox Co OH.
Married (2nd) to Hannah Kendall 1 May 1862, and they are listed in 1870 with children Nancy (10), Mary E. (6) and David H. (2).
Still in Auglaize County in 1880, with both daughters from prior marriages Mary (20) and Ancyenis (20) and David (12), Alice (8), John (6) and Simon (2).
Lived in Auglaize Co, OH before moving to the Ft. Wayne area of Allen Co, Indiana before he died there.
