John was killed by a falling tree in 1857, after having his last child John. Abigail, left with 5 children, soon remarried.
In 1860 the second family consisted of Lyman Starkweather (49, CT) and Abigail (43, CT), along with Sherman and Wally Brown (19), Ann E. Brown (11) and John Brown (8) - Leverett having died 14 Apr 1855.
Her family was still in Coventry in 1870, consisting of herself (52, CT), husband Lyman (59, CT) a farmer, and her youngest children Ann Brown (21) and John Brown (18).
