THOMAS J. LILLEY
Thomas J. Lilley died Wednesday, March 23, 1904. Thomas J. Lilley, who was injured by being struck by a freight train at Coal Center, died this morning at 9 o'clock from the injuries sustained at that time. He was aged 75 years and somewhat hard of hearing, which led to the accident. The freight did not strike him full front, but sideswiped him, breaking several ribs and causing internal injuries. It was thought at the time that the injuries would probably prove fatal on account of Mr. Lilley's advanced age. He was connected with a large family of the same name in California (PA) in East Pike Run township.
