Violet Mae Bogardus, 87, daughter of the late Frank and Lulu Wiggins; formerly of Camillus and Brooksville, FL, passed away Thursday with her daughter at her side at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY, after a long illness. Born in Geddes, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1987; sisters, Mildred Pass, Betty Blainey and Martha Wiggins; brothers, Paul, Maurice and David Wiggins; son-in-law, Angelo Massa; and great-grandson, Matthew Aidan Coons. She is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Massa) Coons (Frederick) of Ballston Lake, NY, Florence Bogardus of Tully and Jessica Boradori (David) of Rathdrum, Idaho; son, David Bogardus (Cheryl) of Schell City, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ralph Bogardus; sisters-in-law, Evelyn MacLaughlin and Edythe Bogardus; cousin, Jane Hoskins; dear friend, Eleanor Kenyon; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn. Arrangements by B.L. Bush & Sons, 10 Genesee St., Camillus.
