He is living with the family of his sister Matilda Murphy in 1900, listed as born Dec 1879 and age 30, which are inconsistent. I have assumed 1869 is correct. He was listed as having no occupation, and was listed as “tramp” on the death record.
He died of pneumonia at the age of 40.
He is buried on South Oakfield Road Cemetery. The road was formerly called the Skittiook Road
