Frank spent some time in Burlington, Vermont and more in San Francisco, California.
He returned to Chateaugay, NY, and dabbled in local politics. Frank was a prominent citizen, supervisor of Chateaugay for 30 years, Masonic official, county supervisor and numerous other offices and positions. In 1920, he married Mrs. Mabel Dow (Parks) at age 57 and they had sons, Frank and Wallace.
According to one census, he owned 3 farms and a large wood lot in Chateaugay, which might possibly have included the family homestead (from his father), since Wallace’s Bellmount Farm was adjacent to Charlotte’s (Wallace’s mother).
