Grave markers for this cemetery were removed many years ago. Burials in this cemetery were relocated around the edges of Cedar Lane/Central State Cemetery #1 so that the area could be used for new buildings. The number spikes for all Central State Cemeteries were thrown to the side by landscapers. The memorial cemetery number spikes are in random order after being collected from the woods and ditches.

She was first married to (Henry ) Clay Adkins, as her marriage to Otis was her second. Jennie and her mother, Nancy, ran a boarding house and restaurant in Hot Springs in the 1880s-1890s. Jennie's children were: Dottie Adkins, Birdy Adkins, Sidney Adkins, and Clay “Cass” Adkins from her first marriage, and Ernest Armstrong, Mable Armstrong, Jennie Armstrong, and Wyman Otis Armstrong from her second.
In 1900, 6 of her 7 children were living, which may indicate that she had a 5th child with Clay before his death.
In 1910, 8 of her 9 children were living.
1920 census appears to list her race as (American) Indian, as well as that of her children. Her son, Cass from the first marriage, and his family was living with them.
In 1930 she is listed as the widowed mother, living with the family of her son Ernest in Ralls Co, MO at age 67.
