He died in early childhood and was recorded as being buried in M.P. Cem, South Prairie - currently known as South Prairie Cemetery outside West Liberty. He was apparently later moved to be buried with his parents in Oak Ridge Cem, West Liberty, IA. His information is inscribed on the back of their headstone, and in 2013 his original headstone was leaning against it.
