Listed in the 1900 Hot Springs census as born July 1853 in Mississippi, quarrying, and married 15 yrs. With him is his wife Edith (Sep 1866, AR) with 5 of their 6 children living and with them - Opie J. (14), Effie P. (12), William M. (11), Jennie M. (8), and Myrtle B. (7).
