Major in the 2nd Regulars of Kentucky during the War of 1812.
He is listed in the 1850 census for Nelson Co, KY as a farmer (76, MD), with his wife Lydia (73, VA) and a Lydia A. Milligan (11, KY) - apparently the child of their oldest daughter Elizabeth.
According to a book on Maple Grove Cemetery, he and his wife are not buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. They have a memorial there. Their bodies are actually buried in the Down's Cemetery, located on Stevens Rd, 1st brick house on right, Milton Wright Farm.
