Asa was a Revolutionary War vet who volunteered four times. During one stint, he took part in the famous retreat from New York's Long Island.
Asa Fenton m. (1) Jerusha Hatch, they had six (6) children. Asa m. (2) Sarah Johnson, they had nine (9) children. His children w/Sarah are: Jerusha (died young), Jerusha, Dorcas (my GGgrandmother) m. Phineas Antisdel - both died in West Warren, Bradford Co PA, Asa, Hannah, Tabitha, Orpha, Samuel (died young) & Samuel.
He or some of his descendants lived in Stafford, Connecticut.
