She married John Clem. To them were born four children - Nellie M. (27 Feb 1876-14 Sep 1896), who died in young womanhood, Clarence Walter (20 Aug 1877-1 Feb 1957), Franklin (17 Feb 1879-Sep 1962) and Dallas W. (5 May 1895). Margaret, like her mother, was left with a small son at the death of her husband. She was self-sacrificing in her love and devotion to home and family.
In 1910 she is listed as widowed (54, IN), running a boarding house, and her son Dallas living with her.
In 1920 she was living with son Dallas and his wife Mary (23, IN).
In 1930 she is listed alone as head of household and widowed (74, IN) in Columbus, Bartholomew Co, IN.

Frank Clem married Mary Adaline Abbet on 8 Oct 1902. To them were born three children - Eva, who died in 1919, Leland and Bobbie Dean.
Clarence Clem married Bonnie Parr of Edinburg, Ind. To them were born three children - John W., Jennie M., and Mary E. who died in July 1925.
Dallas W. Clem married Mary Ada Hofer of Columbus, Ind. They had one son, Dallas Hofer Clem (1921-1993) and died in Bloomfield, NJ.
