Clifford H. Reid, 66, rubberworker, resident of 420 Manning Street, died today at 8 a.m. in his home of a heart ailment. He had been in failing health three years and seriously ill two weeks. Born in Licking County, Jan. 8, 1882, he was the son of the late Meredith
and Mary (Moats) Reid and lived here all of his life.
For several years he was in the employ of the Pharis Rubber Company. He was a member of the Rubberworkers Union and was a past noble grand of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
His widow, Mrs. Lottie May Reid, and a son Robert L. Reid of Knoxville, Tenn. survive. Also four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Webster Bieberbach of Newark, and two brothers, Meredith Reid of Columbus and Lester Reid of Welsh Hills. A sister, Mrs. Ella Young, proceded him in death 5/16/1946. The body is at Criss Brothers funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
