His parents were born in PA. Sons James (22) and William (21) were listed with them in 1880. Listed next door are his parents, John C. Harryman (80, b. PA) a farmer and his wife Mary (77, b. PA), with their daughter Harriet (35, b. OH) and granddaughter Della M. Jackson (10, b. OH).
After the death of his wife Mary, he was remarried to Sarah Shire (1832-1908) about 1891.
Listed with his son and sister-in-law in 1910, married a second time for 18 yrs.
Cause of Death: Dropped dead in cornfield at work, circumstances would indicate Apoplexy; contributory: Stroke about 3 years ago.
