Husband Roy (33, OH) is working as a clerk at Cooper-Bessemer, and she is keeping house (29, OH) and caring for their daughter Melvina A. (3, OH). Roy had 2 yrs of college and Katherine completed high school.

Mount Vernon—Katherine B. Neighbarger, 86, of Quarry Street, died February 23, 1998 at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1911 in Mount Vernon and was the daughter of Charles and Chloe (Stone) Wells. She had been a lifetime resident of Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church, and had been a member of the Dan Emmett Grange and Dan Emmett Kennel Club.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Sandra Nieghbarger of Mount Vernon, Marla Wright of Marysville and Mrs. Roderick (Barbara) Conkle of Melbourne, Fla.; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Neighbarger; a daughter, Melvine Neighbarger; a sister, Mellie Dial; and a brother, Robert Wells.
Memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Gay Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. David Baker will officiate. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
