In November 1929, her parents bought property in the Gallager area of Wayne Co (IL) which they had rented in 1919. This 240 acre farm was later purchased by Lola and her husband Frank Wade.
In 1940 they are married and listed as Frank W. (29, IL) a farmer and Lola Mae (30, IL) along with their children H. Naomi (6, IL) and Frank J. (4, IL). Both Frank and Lola had completed high school.

Lola Mae Wade, 92, of Olney, formerly of Noble, died at 10:19 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2002, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Dr. Crawford Howe officiating.
Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.
Mrs. Wade was born on December 22, 1909, the daughter of William and Maude (Montgomery) Wells. She married Frank W. Wade on June 23, 1932. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2001.
She was a homemaker, former school teacher and 4-H leader. She was a member of United for Christ Church in Wynoose and Home Bureau.
Mrs. Wade is survived by two daughters, Bonita Balding and her husband, Lynden, of Olney, and Naomi Travous and her husband, Bill, of Olney; three sons, Frank Wade Jr. and his wife, Moonie, of Olney, David Wade and his wife, Barbara, of Noble, and Roger Wade and his wife, Peggy, of Champaign; one sister, Jesse Greeson, of Highland, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Esther Wells, of Olney, and Juanita Wells, of Highland, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one infant son, five brothers, three sisters and one grandson.

Frank William Wade, 90, of Noble, died at 12:54 a.m. Friday, February 23,2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Gene Everett officiating.
Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Wade was born April 30, 1910 in Richland County, the son of Harry and Margaret (Varner) Wade. He married Lola Mae (Wells) Wade on June 23, 1932. She survives.
He was a farmer and former school teacher. He attended United for Christ Church in Wynoose. He was a member of Farm Bureau, Richland County Soil & Water Conservation Organization and served on the Richland County Board.
Mr. Wade is survived by his wife Lola Mae (Wells) Wade, Noble, three sons, Frank Wade Jr. and his wife Monnie of Olney; David Wade and his wife Barbara of Noble; Roger Wade and his wife Peggy of Champaign; two daughters, Naomi Travous and her husband Bill of Olney; Bonita Balding and her husband Lynden of Olney; a brother, Forrest Wade and his wife Velma of Noble; three sisters, Beulah Howe of Salem, Cleone Gumbel of Olney, and Leone Michels of Olney; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son; two sisters, Iris Cooper and Ester Michels; and one grandson, Robert William Wade.
