In 1900 census as Georgia K., she is listed with her father George Coffe Van Dyke (29 Dec 1873, CA - 24 Dec 1932, CA) a barber, and her mother Florence Amelia Reynolds (Jun 1876, CA - 27 Apr 1936 CA) at the age of 5 months, but listed as a son, Georgie.
Listed with her parents, George C. (35, CA) a painter and Florence A. (32, CA) Van Dyke in 1910 at age 10. Her parents had been married for 14 yrs, and she has an older brother Harry C. (Nov 1898, CA) - indexed as Van Dyles.
The Oakland Tribune, on 25 Oct 1917, under the heading Marriage Licenses, reported “Fleddermann-Van Dyke - John F. Fleddermann, 26, and Georgia K. Van Dyke, 18, both of Hayward.”
Listed as age 19 in the 1920 census with her new husband, and as age 30 in the 1930 census after separating from her husband.
In 1930, she is listed as head of household (married) with her daughter and son, and first married at age 17.
NOTE: the confusing thing here is that she is listed as married, while her "husband" is living with another woman, where he is also listed as married.
In 1931 she is listed in the Hayward city directory as Mrs. Georgia Fleddermann.
She is then listed in 1935 public records for Alameda as Georgia Vandyke.

According to Willamette National Cemetery records he was born 7 Nov 1892 and died 3 May 1973.
He is listed with his parents as Frank Fledderman in the 1900 census.
Listed as John Frank (17, LA) with his parents in 1910, although it shows his birth as 1891. Parents had been married 37 yrs and had 7 of their 9 children living.
He enlisted in the Army during WWI on 26 Mar 1917 in New Orleans, and was discharged as a Sgt. on 27 Mar 1919.
Listed in the 1920 census as a music teacher (27, LA), with his wife Georgia (19, CA). It shows his father as being born in Germany and his mother in Louisiana.
Was a piano player, and supposedly met Marie in the theater. In 1930, he is listed with her in the San Francisco census as teaching and playing music. They were living in the Arundell apartments on Ellis St, and it says they are married, and that he (37, LA) was first married at age 21, and she (25, IL) at age 18. They had no children from either marriage living with them.
They were living in Vacaville in 1942 when he registered for the WWII draft. At the time he was working for the Navy Dept. at Mare Island in Vallejo, and it states his birthplace as Gretna, LA.
The Murphy-Greer funeral home in Alameda CA handled his funeral before sending him to Portland for burial in the National cemetery. The SSDI lists him as Jack Fleddermann.
