Lee Roy Fenton 2/22/27 - 5/1/2000
Lakewood-Tacoma resident died peacefully in his sleep, age 73 years. Served in World War II in Transportation Corp, graduated from Clover Park High School 1945. Worked for Carman Manufacturing, custodian for Clover Park School District, volunteer Lakewood Fire Department. Lee was involved in many organizations throughout his lifetime: Eagles Club, U. S. O., Lakewood Players, Tacoma Little Theater, Steilacoom Mask and Wig, guest director, Radio Station KOOD Fan Club. His favorite color was green and longtime collector of frogs, all kinds, raised and bred Manchester terriers, candle maker, musician and actor.
Survived by sister, Joy Fix of Lakecity: children, Carl, Linda, Larry and Lyle; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial service at Amvets Hall, Sunday, May 21st, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 5717 So. Tyler Street. Memorial contributions may be made in Lee's name to the charity of your choice.
