They then moved to Parsons, KS by the time he registered for the WWI Draft in 1918, and for the 1920 census. His profession was a Dentist. Their children were living with his sister-in-law in Chicago during the 1930 census, suggesting that his wife Margaret may have died.
He is listed in Los Angeles in 1940 as a salesman (62, OH) of kitchenware and widowed. Living with him is his divorced daughter, Margaret Marchaud (28, KS) as well as his grandson Eugene Marchaud (7, CA).
