WELLS, Glenn 1928-2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Glenn Arthur Wells on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 93 years. Born in Williamsburg Township and raised in Aultsville, ON. Beloved spouse of Joan Wells (nee Rutley) for 57 years. Loved father of Dana Wells (Lisa) of Woodstock, ON and Krista Wells (Al Dam) of Ottawa, ON. Sadly, missed by two grandsons; Sam and Anders. Glenn was predeceased by his parents; Stanley Wells and Laura Wells (nee Gallinger) and by one sister Shirley Stewart. Glenn spent many hours searching his family history. He worked as an electrician, built Home Hardware in Ingleside and was a tinsmith at Upper Canada Village. Glenn was also a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years. Visitation will take place at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Funeral will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
