James Hudson Wells
Funeral for James Hudson Wells, who died Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Jos C. Wray & Bro., 1234 Mountain street. Mr Wells was born near Williamsburg, Ont. He has lived in Montreal since 1930 and - was saies manager here for Autographic Business Forms, where ne worked for more than 45 years. Mr. Wells was a member of Prince Consort Lodge, the Marlborough Golf Club and the Outremont Curling Club. He was a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathleen Swerdfeger; two daughters, Mrs G. C. Lamb and Mrs S. F. Doherty; a son, James; two brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
He died at his late residence on May 4 th, 1955, in his 69th year, and was father of James, Margaret (Mrs. Stanley Doherty), Dorothy (Mrs. George Lamb).
