WELLS. Helena - At the Cornwall General Hospital on Sunday, January 16, 1994, The former Helena Lillian Brownell of 211 Water Street West. Apt. #8; formerly of 133·A Seventh Street East: age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Wells. Dear mother of William (Bud) and George Wells, Dorothy (Mrs. Sherman Laprade), Marian (Mrs. Albert Burgess), Elaine Wells and Maxine (Mrs. Richard Laurin) all of Cornwall, Harry Wells of Morrisburg, Patsy (Mrs. Thomas Dalley) of Twillingate Island, Newfoundland and Irene Wells of Kingston.
Predeceased by two daughters. Mrs. Audrey Sly and Marjorie Wells. Dear daughter of the late Ezra Brownell and the late Ida Warner. Predeceased by five brothers, William, Rex, Russell, Harpld and Fred Browne!l and by one sister, Maude Brownell. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great·grandchild. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren, Charles Sly and Harold Lacroix. Resting at the Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West from 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, January 19, 1994 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Rev. Robert Pentinga of Knox St. Paul's United Church officiating. Spring interment St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery, Ingleside. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 noon until time of Service on Wednesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated by the family .
