FREDERICKTOWN — Regina M. Randall, 82, of Sparta Road, Fredericktown, died June 1, 2003, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon where she had been a resident for a few days during her long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Randall was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Danville, the daughter of Donald and Florence (Blanchard) Colopy and had been a lifetime resident of Knox County. She had been employed as an inspector by Timken Roller Bearing in Mount Vernon for eight years but most of her life she assisted her husband in operating their family dairy farm. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Nature Lovers Garden Club, Knox County Farm Bureau, Good Sam’s camping club and had been a volunteer at the Hillcrest Nursing Home doing gardening therapy.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wendell Randall, whom she married Dec. 4, 1946; her daughter, Jean (Steve) Wyatt of Fredericktown; her four sons, Tom (Kathy) Randall of Fredericktown, David (Phyllis) Randall of Mount Vernon, Terry (Diane) Randall and Scott (Becky) Randall, both also of Fredericktown; 12 grandchildren, Craig Randall, Stacey Poland, Mary-Ellen Borland, Lynne Morris, John Randall, Leslie Randall, Megan Wyatt, Bethany Wyatt, Gregory Wyatt, Trent Randall, Kyle Randall and Tricia Randall; and a great-grandson, Dillon Randall; three sisters, Florence Hildenbrand of Howard, Margie Samples of Danville and Marilyn Arnold of Monroe Mills; and three brothers, Richard Colopy of Danville, and Robert Colopy and Joseph Patrick Colopy, both of Fredericktown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Colopy; and a sister, Barbara Colopy.

FREDERICKTOWN — Wendell G. Randall, 90, of Sparta Road, Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon after a short stay.
He was born July 23, 1918, in Fredericktown to the late Edward and Sarah (Oberholtzer) Randall. Wendell worked on the family dairy farm in Fredericktown. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Knox County Farm Bureau, Middlebury and Wayne granges, and Knights of Columbus Council 847 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Wendell was an original member of the FFA Fredericktown Chapter and the FFA band. He enjoyed square dancing and playing euchre in his free time.
He is survived by his children, Tom (Kathy) Randall of Fredericktown, David (Phyllis) Randall of Mount Vernon, Terry (Diane) Randall of Fredericktown, Scott Randall of Fredericktown and Jean (Steve) Wyatt of Fredericktown; 12 grandchildren, Stacey (Bret) Poland, Craig (Sara) Randall, Mary Ellen (Matt) Borland, Lynne (Jason) Morris, John Randall, Leslie Randall, Megan (Brent) Shumaker, Bethany Wyatt, Gregory Wyatt, Trent (Julie) Randall, Kyle (Sara) Randall and Tricia (Mike) Perrine; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (Colopy) Randall (2003); five brothers, Howard Randall, Harvey Randall, Hoy Randall, Kenneth Randall, Warren Randall; and three sisters, Vera Tyson, Ava Robinson and Evelyn Richards.
