Lee Palmer Tallman of 4201 SE 37th Ave., died Tuesday at his home at the age of 80.
Tallman was a retired carpenter. He was born at Eagle, Mich., and came to Yamhill County, Oregon, with his parents in 1881. He lived at Tigard, Yamhill and Hillsboro and in 1900 married Ruth Emily Gaunt, who died about 30 years ago. He married Mrs. Nellie Armstrong Knuth, a teacher and widow, in 1933.
He is survived by the widow; two sons, Herschel of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Merle of Portland, and a daughter, Thelma Kain of Portland; two stepsons, Billy and Vardon Knuth; seven granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at the A. J. Rose & Son Funeral Parlor at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
